When is the event?

Where is the event?

A

  • From Walmart on the Strip, along Highway 76, to the United Methodist Church

What time does the event begin?

A

  • We'll begin gathering in the outer lot of the Walmart on the strip at 12:30 pm. The march will begin at 1 p.m.

How many miles is the march?

A

  • Approximately 1 1/2 miles.

Do I have to walk the entire route?

A

  • Not at all! Select a section to walk, or drive from one prayer stop to the next or follow us online on Facebook LIVE and pray from your home. The important thing is to participate!

How long will it take to march?

A

  • About 1 1/2 hours.

Is this a free event?

A

  • Yes!

What about COVID-19?

A

  • The Branson Prayer March will abide by any ordinances set forth by the City of Branson on the day of the March. If you feel unwell the day of the march, please stay at home and follow us on Facebook LIVE.

Will this event happen if it rains?

A

  • The Prayer March will go on rain or shine. Exceptions include severe weather.

What are we allowed to bring?

A

  • Small purses or backpacks

  • Water and snacks

  • Comfortable shoes

  • Jacket or rain gear

What are we NOT allowed to bring?

A

• Alcoholic beverages • Weapons/ammunition of any kind • Fireworks • Glass containers • Laser pointers • Materials for distribution • Folding chairs/tables • Signs • Drones

Will there be parking and shuttles?

A

There is plenty of parking at each prayer stop and along the route if you plan to drive to each location. Please be respectful of open businesses, and park away from the entrance to the business. We also provide shuttles so that you can leave your car at Walmart and get a ride back to it once you're done or if you get tired along the way.
